Support

If something isn’t working or you have a question, write to info@jlcreativestudio.es. It helps a lot if you tell us which device you use, your iOS or iPadOS version and what you were doing when it happened.

Which languages does it work in?

Voice follow uses the speech recognition models Apple includes in iOS and iPadOS, on the device itself, so it works in the languages those models support. Each language’s model downloads once and then works offline.

The app is available in Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Japanese and Korean.

Does it need the internet?

No. You only need a connection the first time you use a language, to download its speech model. After that, reading, recording and exporting work offline. If iCloud is turned on, syncing between your devices happens whenever there is a connection.

How do I restore my purchase?

Go to Settings › LOIGO Pro › Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. You don’t need to create any LOIGO account.

How does the 7-day trial work?

It is offered once and starts when you tap it. For 7 days you get every LOIGO Pro feature. When it ends, those features switch off and the app keeps working in its free version. Nothing you wrote or recorded is lost, and there is no automatic charge: if you want to keep Pro, you buy it yourself.

How do I pair the remote?

You need another iPhone or iPad with LOIGO, on the same Wi‑Fi network as the device you read from.

  1. On the device you read from, on the home screen, tap “Remote: pairing code”. A code and a QR code appear.
  2. On the other device, on the home screen, tap “Use this device as a remote”.
  3. Type the code, or tap “Scan the code” and point it at the QR code. Then tap “Pair”.

The first time, iOS asks for permission to use the local network: allow it. Only one remote controls the prompter at a time, and the code never travels over the network.

How do I export to Final Cut?

In a script’s takes, open the menu (···) and choose “Export for the editor”. You pick which takes go in (the good ones come preselected) and whether to copy the videos. You get a folder with:

  • an FCPXML file for Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve, with the edit, each take’s rating and the markers;
  • two EDLs, one for cuts and one for markers, for DaVinci Resolve, Premiere and other editors;
  • SRT and VTT subtitles built from the script, and the take log as CSV;
  • the original videos, not re-encoded, if you choose to copy them.

Use “Share the folder” to send it to your Mac or save it to Files. In Final Cut Pro, import the FCPXML with File › Import › XML. The folder includes a LEEME.txt (read-me) file explaining what to open in each editor.
